Our Charter: to breed Briards outstanding according to standards held on both sides of the Atlantic for conformation, working ability, temperament, soundness and performance.
Since 1990, Eiledon Briards has worked to understand, promote, and encourage excellence in the breed.
We are just as proud watching a seven-month old puppy work sheep for the first time, as we are with any ribbon or accolade earned in the conformation ring. Form follows function and we strive to bring our dogs closer to the ideal standard of the breed in each consecutive generation. Our dogs have a strong working drive, and while they are not the dog for the faint of heart, they provide intelligent and challenging companions for the home, show ring, obedience, agility and herding arenas.
Eiledon Briards Breeding Program
We believe in a close relationship between breeders and dog owners. That belief leads to a lifetime relationship with owners of our dogs, for those who desire that kind of support.
If you have questions about our dogs, our breeding program, or the Briard in general, please feel free to contact us.
2025 Planned Litter
We are pleased to announce our upcoming litter, expected in Mid-April. Blacks and Black-Born Greys are expected.
GCH Chien De Sel Peng Long De L’Heureux “Peng” X GCHS Fairytale’s Oxford RA BN CGC IT FDC “Oxford”

GCH Chien De Sel Peng Long De L’Heureux “Peng”
The dam is GCH Chien De Sel Peng Long De L’Heureux “Peng” or “Ping Pong” when she is being silly, which is often. With relatively limited showing, and fully owner-handled, she has experienced robust success – ranging from Best Puppy at her first National and debut, to a very quick finish as a Grand Champion in 2023. This will be her first and only litter. She is very lovey at home, always ready to be there with us doing whatever is next in our day. We have not actively competed in obedience, but she enjoys obedience classes. While she is sometimes creative about definitions for obedience activities, she is very bidable and eager to please.
She is OFA Good, Elbows Normal and was last eye CERF Normal examined in 2023 prior to our initial attempt at this breeding. She is CSNB clear by pedigree.
Her parents are GCH Hyssop De Bejaune X Ch Dromore’s Honah Lee De L’Heureux RN AXP OJP NFP.
